I do have one other person reporting this, but that’s it, and typically if this was a bigger problem we’d be hearing about it from a lot more people. So something is up, but we’ll need to dig around a little bit to figure it out.
Do you have logging enabled in the plugin settings? We need to see the logs to get an idea of what might be going on here. Also, screenshots or a video of the experience would be helpful as well.
Please submit a ticket here so that we can work more directly on this together.
I believe we have this resolved in our GitHub repo. I just need to get some things merged and then I can get you a download of the update to see if it fixes your issue.
Hey
Thank you for the amazing plugin, i do have the same issue on my site, on PayPal express after user login to paypal and go back to the site, there is message Invalid Payment type, this is on the 1.4.3
I am having the same issue, after upgrading to 1.4.3 of PayPal for WooCommerce. Customers have tried with the same cards they have previously paid with. I also tried with my PayPal account, Same issue, it sends me back to the cart from the Paypal screen and says “Invalid payment method.”
Please download this copy of the plugin and update it manually on your site, overwriting the existing plugin files. We believe this should resolve the issue. If you can verify that would be great. Thanks!
It appears that it worked. What happened? What changed? I have lots of other sites with this plugin running, do I need to upload what you sent or are you going to push out another release?
Thank you
Is it works with woo 3.0.6?
I am running Woo 3.0.6. Yes
tnx, looks like it working now
Last month is a really bloody hell in store ;-( ;-(
@angelleye Are you going to push out an update to everyone?
Yes, I will be pushing the 1.4.4 update very soon. If you need to fix this problem immediately you can grab it from the link above and update manually. I should have 1.4.4 pushed later tonight.
Hi,
I’ve updated Woo Commerce to 3.0.6 and to latest version of PayPal today and still getting this error.
I’ve also tried it on my daughters phone, cleared the cache and problem still persists.
Thanks
You are still getting Invalid Payment Type? That is odd. We were able to reproduce the problem here, and we were able to verify our adjustments fixed it. We also got verification from multiple other sources that reported this saying it fixed it for them, too. This is the only report I’ve had of this update not fixing the problem.
I know you said you cleared your cache, but please double check that. Make sure it’s cleared in any plugins in WordPress, on the server directly, and in your browser.
Thanks for the reply. My daughters phone has never loaded the website before and wouldn’t have any data cached in the background. unfortunately the error still occurred.
Now tried buying from my website on 3 mobile devices and 2 laptops and all have this error.
How do I go about clearing the cache directly on the server and WordPress plugins?
Thanks
Chris
