    Hi,

With the latest update, the star rating feature generates errors in Google Webmaster Tools. Google tells me:

New Products issues detected for site https://domain.com

    Missing field “offers”

    Missing field “description”

    Missing field “sku”

No global identifier provided (e.g., gtin, mpn, isbn)

    Missing field “review”

    Probably it’s from this:

    <div id="wpd-post-rating" class="wpd-not-rated"><div itemscope="" itemtype="http://schema.org/Product"

Product schema is incorrect in this instance.

    Thanks!

    Hi @mgsolidus,
Google has removed the “Article” type of rating. So we have to remove the Aggregate Rating schema in upcoming 7.0.2 version.

Currently, we’re using the “Product” type, because there is no other type that could be closer to articles. You can see all available Aggregate Rating schema types here: https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2019/09/making-review-rich-results-more-helpful.html

According to the information above, we recommend to disable Aggregate Rating schema in Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Rating & Stars Tab. This will be fully removed in upcoming version. So there is no way to use Aggregate Rating schema for simple articles and posts. It’s not allowed by Google.
