• I keep getting “Invalid Session. Please refresh the page and try again” from the front-end “adverts/add” page when subscribers attempt image upload. I’ve given “Authenticated Users” media contributor rights, thinking that the subscriber role doesn’t normally have media upload rights, but that didn’t improve the situation. Any thoughts?

The “Invalid Session. Please refresh the page and try again” shows in two cases when someone is trying “hack” the plugin (unlikely to be the case here) or when user session is lost when making AJAX request from frontend.

If you have some kind of security plugin installed or maybe some security on the server itself, you can try to disable it and see if it helps.

I’ve tested with plugins disabled and re-enabled, and sometimes the above-mentioned behavior occurs, sometimes it doesn’t and the upload works just fine. Behavior is very inconsistent. I thought it might be our load balancers (we have F5 LBs between us and the internet), but am seeing the same behavior when on “simple” networks. Very, very odd.

Hmm have you tried this on a couple of servers or just one?
