Invalid translation + bubble description height

    Hi,
    I am having trouble with two things.

    1) I downloaded your official (czech) translation and its almost great. Unfortunately “Place Category” and “Place tags” (displayed at detail page) are not completely translated. Only “Place” is translated, “Category” and “Tags” remain in English. I checked .po file and it appears to be translated. I also tried to locate original strings, but changing those didn’t help either. (I have czech version for url slug names set in wp settins and using directory starter theme if it helps)
    Would you have any idea how could I fix it?
    Btw: Translation on tabs names didn’t work either, but I managed to fix it by changing original strings within php files.

    2) I would like to lower height of place desciption bubble (div with .geodir-bubble_desc class). This div’s height is styled through inline style containing “!important”. Where is value for this coming from?

    hi,

    The translation are made by users, we don’t speak Czech (nor many other languages) so we couldn’t check them. We can’t guarantee for their quality.

    2) I think that is done via JS and it also calculates the height considering the height of the custom fields used it in. I asked to the developers to let us know how they would tackle this.

    They’ll let you know asap.

    Hi,

    1) Yes, I understand, that you don’t speak Czech. The thing is, that those words are translated right in the .po files (In theme, in WP, in Geodir plugin) but somehow are outputed in English.

    2) Have your devs been able to locate the part of js that sets height?

    3) I would like to disable “favourite” feauture. It’s span <span class=”geodir-addtofav favorite_property_##”>. Is there some easy way to disable it? I haven’t been able to find it in settings.

    Hi,

    1) I can translate it no problem following our docs, so there must be something wrong on your side. We’ll need to look at your website, for this is better if you post in our support forum, where in a private reply you can provide credentials.

    2) Not yet, they’ll let you know asap.

    3) There is no option, you can hide it everywhere with CSS: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-disable-favorites/

    1) Good news – I have been able to locate “category” and “tags” inside source code and now its ok.

    3) Didn’t think about just “not displaying it”. Thanks for pointing that out.

    Hello,

    For #2 the maps decides the height then we adjust the description to match, if you want to try and change it you might want to try and adjust the height of the popup as our JS only makes our div the same height as that.

    Not tested but try something like .iprelative .gm-style-iw {height: 200px !important;}
