Invisible Recaptcha Error on WordPress Multisite installation

Hello.

I just installed invisible recaptcha on my wordpress multisite network. I read that this service is fine on multisite installations.

When i go to domain/wp-login.php at both the main domain and the subsites domains, the badge is showing, but I am getting the following error:

Error for site owner – invalid site key.

I have checked the keys at both the Google dashboard and also the keys entered on the plugin dash. they are a match. I used the copy button at google dashboard, so there was no copy / paste error.

how do I go about working on fix to this?

PS – the badge is only showing at the domain/wp-login.php. it is not showing on any other of my pages, including ones that have forms on them.
