Invoice Date is wrong

    Hey together,

    we are facing an issue, where the invoices created show the invoice date of ‘today’. So if i create and export an invoice from 2 months ago, the date is set to the date of the day i am trying to export.

    I already checked and the option ‘invoice date’ does not seem to work. If i try to set it to ‘date of order’ as the invoice date, the system doesn’t pick it up and proceeds to create the invoice with the current date.

    Is there any help or anything i can try?

    Hi @ykolac,

    Could you please tell me how are you exporting the invoices, e.g. are you maybe using a plugin for that?

    Hey ,

    we are using the plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/ for creating the invoices. What we do is go to WooCommerce -> Orders and filter all Orders from that month (in this case february 2025):

    From there i mark all and click on “pdf invoice”:

    and click on apply.

    The invoices open in another window but the date is set to todays date, thats the problem. We want it to be the date of purchase.

    Thanks for providing more details, @ykolac:

    Please note that you can configure the document date in two ways, in WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Invoice > Document details > Display invoice date:

    • Order date: This is the date when the order was placed
    • Invoice date: This is the date when the document was created

    Therefore, if you are seeing the current date when exporting PDF invoices in bulk, it is likely that you are using the invoice date, as the document date, and these are being created for the first time at the time of export.
