IP anonymization does not work

Version 13.1.7 – German translation version
In the settings under the tab privacy. No matter what option I select, the IP-addresses of the visitors are not getting anonymized.

Hi,

Hope you are fine and doing well.

I believe this issue doesn’t relate to our plugin as the mentioned feature is working fine in our tests.
Maybe it’s a plugin conflict. Deactivate all plugins and check whether the issue still exists or not?

thanks for your reply.

Conflicts with other plugins only could come from 3 other plugins (Cookie-Banner= https://de.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/complianz-gdpr/), (No-comments= https://de.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/comments-plus/) and (another WP statistic= https://de.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-stats-manager/).

The weird thing is, it suddenly works half of the time. Especially when under search terms /”Suchbegriffe” the referrer is the own website. Hope you are fine.

It is weird. Do you get any errors on your dashboard?
You can enable WordPress debugging tools by putting a few lines of code into the wp-config.php file.

Hi Reza,
I currently have no time and the skill to access the config file under the current hosting provider. I will do it when I change provider in around half to a year.

And the dashboard or any other of the plugins features work with no problem.
