IP detecting wrong country

I have installed this plugin on 2 separate wordpress instances – 1 is version 2.9.0, the other is version 3.1.0.

There is an IP (162.158.165.212) and it’s detected correctly on the old version (2.9.0) as Singapore, while the new version (3.1.0) is detecting it as Australia. In fact almost all the entries coming in is detected wrongly as Australia. Please advise how to correct the IP detection on the new instance. Thank you.
