IP whitelist while using Cloudlfare

    Hi

    I have my IP address added as the only whitelisted address.

    If I use Cloudflare as a proxy, then its Cloudflare’s IP addresses that are being used to get to the site instead of my IP address. This means that my IP address never has the chance to be tested against the whitelist – and I get the ‘Forbidden’ screen that would normally show to IP addresses not on the whitelist.

    Is there a way for Cloudflare and the IP whitelist to work together – ie. so that I can use both Cloudflare as a proxy, and my personal IP address in the whitelist?

    Hi,

    Go to WP Security -> Settings -> Advanced Settings and select the following from the drop down menu.

    HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP
