iphone app based on wordpress blog?

    Hello –

    I currently have the iOS WordPress app installed on my iPhone and I was wondering if there was a way to make a native (not WPtouch theme) app for the iPhone that is based off of a WordPress blog? I figured the app could connect to the MySQL database and a user could customize the app in XCode before publishing it. Has anyone else done this?
