    Hello,

    I am receiving duplicate new order emails. I know this is because my WooCommerce shop is supposedly receiving both PDT and IPN notifications, the only problem is.

    I have disabled IPN email notifications in the payment settings in WooCommerce and I have selected “Do not receive IPN messages (Disabled)” in my PayPal account. However when I look at my order, it says “IPN payment completed” in my order notes above the PDT notification.

    I believe this could be some sort of bug because I do not receive duplicate emails with every order most just have one PDT but maybe one in five get both. So I’m just curious if there is something I may have missed?

    Apologies on the late response on this issue. If you are still having them, you should configure PayPal to use IPN only. PDT is commonly used a backup if for some reason you cannot get IPN to work, with both enabled at the same time it will likely be verifying purchases twice and thus sending out 2 emails.

    Enabling only IPN should resolve this for you. If you have questions let us know!
