    Reverts settings to default, causing ranking drops, then says it’s users’ responsibility to check plugin dev’s site for the updates.

    Thanks for your comment.

    Unfortunately, there was a bug in Yoast SEO 7.0 where some settings were not properly migrated after updating to 7.0. Please, refer to the changelog for more details: https://yoast.com/wordpress/plugins/seo/change-log-wordpress-seo/ The bug was completely fixed in v7.0.3 so you should no longer experience problems with the Yoast settings being reset.

    “apologize for any inconvenience” – you get websites into google penalty and you “apologize”.

    Is there anyone there who knows what they are doing.
