After the migration, my “best page” (not my index page) is “renamed” to “/” in the list of pages. Also there are rows with strange numbers:

    So now it looks like

1: / (I know this is not the home page/index page)
    2: /correct-url/
    3: /another-correct-url/
    4: / (this is the index/home page)
    5: /yet-another-crrect-url/

    9: /yet-another-crrect-url/
    10: 195428 (what is this?)
    11: /yet-another-crrect-url/

What do I do with this probem?

    Hi @fondanalys,

I’m sorry to hear about the issue. What is the actual URL of your best page? Does it have a post ID?

    (@fondanalys)

    This URL: https://www.whisky.nu/lynchburg-lemonade-recept-och-historia/

Post id might be 222679 (if I understand it correct)

    Hi @fondanalys,

Does the issue persist after updating to version 2.0.10?

    Hi

Kind of… See picture. Edit: I dont understand how to post a picture
“My “Best Page” is gone from the statistics (instead I have my home page at the top, I have never had that, it has always been like position 3-6).

Also the strange number URL is still there on row 13 now

    Hi @fondanalys,

There was an issue with the migration script previous to version 2.0.10. It is correct going forward, but since you’ve already migrated over we have to fix them retro-actively in your case.

I am currently working on preparing an update which contains a script you can run to fix this. Since this issue doesn’t affect everyone, would you be willing to help me test it out later on?

    Best, Danny

I have been looking in the oher pages, and see that my “best page” gets the clicks and impressions that it should habve, it is just starting from zero yesterday. So in a month it will be back on to again, I can wait for that.

But ys, if it is simple and you explain like Im 5yo I can try the script for you

@fondanalys Can you please try the following?

    1. Download the beta Koko Analytics plugin package from https://dannyvankooten-3.stack.storage/s/AklZUYPKUxg5MOTb
    2. Update plugin via WP Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin or by extracting the files to /wp-content/plugins/ .
    3. Go to the following URL to run the script: https://www.whisky.nu/wp-admin/index.php?page=koko-analytics&koko_analytics_action=fix_post_paths_after_v2

That last step may take some time, but should finish eventually. Are your “top pages” looking better after doing that?

    Thread Starter fondanalys

    (@fondanalys)

Not really any luck with the “best page” but the number URL has now changed to /?p=1 whatever that means…

However this is not a big deal for me, lets just let it be and it will/might be better in a month.

When you say “run the script”, should I press any buttons? When I go there it just (maybe does something) and then forward me dto the KOKO dashboard

OK @fondanalys – it will definitely sort itself out over time as new stats are coming in correctly. It only affects the historical data. I’m sorry for the hiccup!
