Our splash page has white hero text that “zooms in” to promote our service. This occasionally breaks, and the text never loads. Instead we see a pulsing circle.

I wonder if this is a problem with JavaScript loading, and which one? I could make sure it is prioritized if I knew what to look for.

If there is a CSS solution, I am seeing classes like .slider-spinner, .double-bounce1, .double-bounce2 and .js-rotating

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @lukefive

Could you try disabling all your plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Regards.

@longnguyen this morning this is fixed by turning OFF bothCombine CSS Files‘ and ‘Defer Render-blocking JS‘ in the SiteGround Optimizer plugin.

Somewhat of a crude approach to solving the problem.

I would be better off if I understand specifically what JS or CSS was crucial.

OK, contacted FameThemes tech support and got the information I needed to pre-load the JavaScript etc.
