is CF7 Google Sheet Connector compatible with php8?

    My web hosting wants my website to update to php8. I see in forums that C7 will work fine with php8, do you please know if CF7 Google sheet Connector will also work fine with php8?

    Hello Abdullah,
    Thank you for your reply. I upgraded my site to php 8.1 (the version offered by my host) but the C7 form stopped working: clicking on “send” button only made the little black circle turn endlessly, not sending data to the excel sheet, not sending email. I have C7 form, C7 google sheet connector, C7 submission limit and C7 captcha pro. I have had to revert to php 7.4 but this is not long term. Do you please have a solution? Should I use ask my host provider to offer php8 (instead of php8.1)? Thank you for any light you can shed. best, caroline

    Sorry for the trouble,

    1. After updating to PHP 8, It might be showing an update of CF7, check and confirm once and if showing any update then click to update the CF7, make sure the current version of CF7 is 5.7.3

    2. Also, to double check, deactivate the CF7 Google Sheet for a while and confirm that email send is working without CF7 Google Sheet Plugin?
    Also confirm you have CF7 Google Sheet Connector version 5.0.0

    CF7 Google Sheet Connector works after email sending, if email send is success then only entry will go to the google sheet, therefore also confirm that email sending is not blocked from your server.

    Hope this helps to troubleshoot further, let me know more.

    Dear Abdullah,
    Sorry, this issue is not resolved (only I had no time to look into it until today). I have updated my site to php 8 again today. All the extensions are up to date. Email send fine, also contact form (no excel sheet) send fine. I have de-activated and re-activated Connector.
    Still problem form+excel sheet = not sending of the form. circle turns endlessly and nothing happens.
