Is Content View compatible with Polylang

I’m using Content View with Polylang on my blog and I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue.

If I create a View based on the Author then the posts show-up in the default language (English in my case) but not in the alternate language (French).

I know there’s some magic that happens, when I filter on Category then search parameter is translated so the appropriate posts show-up based on the translated category. But obviously Authors are not translated, so I’m wondering if there’s some issue there.

And is that issue with Content View or with Polylang or somewhere else?!
