div tag by default you do then just change the id or class only
That happens because the plugin scripts are loaded after the theme scripts.
Can you tell me what theme are you using?

You can use the old version while I try to fix this problem. Here is the first version:

Copy the hover-image-button folder in to the /wp-content/plugins directory`.
A new version of the plugin has been released and the bug has been solved, you can update to the last version.
