    Hi,

I’m trying to offer a free sample chapter of an eBook, on a Woocommerce product page, to logged in users only.
Anyone can see the rest of the page, I just want to restrict the link to the file download to logged in users. I have it restricting the content (the link) OK, but to view it the user has to manually find the Register/Log in page, then find their way back to that same product page.
It looks like I can’t put a link to the log in page in the Default Denial Message field, is there any other way to achieve this please? Login & Back would be perfect.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi @hcvni,

If you’re using a block editor, you can utilize Gutenberg’s Login/Out block which has a setting that redirects you back to the previous page.

    Here’s a demo: https://share.zight.com/6qup959B

Hope that helps! 😊 Let us know if you have other questions.

    Hello Kim,

thanks so much for that, I appreciate you going to the trouble to make a video for me 🙂

I don’t use a block theme, so I can’t do it the way you suggest, but I was able to make a workaround by looking through various other posts on here and it will suit me just fine.

    Thank you again.

    Regards,
    Philip.
