• When I first upgraded to 1.5, the new update-links.php worked wonderfully to update my links with their last update time.

Sadly it seems to have stopped working almost completely now. I put a few debug statements in the file to see what was happening, and it seems Pingomatic isn’t returning update times for blogs that I know have been updated, and I know used to show up as updated.

Is Pingomatic broken or is the a problem with the API?

Here is what is being returned from pingomatic for my blog:

    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Date: Tue, 08 Mar 2005 21:01:16 GMT
    Server: Apache
    Content-Length: 154
    Connection: close
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

I know for a fact that oracknows has updated more recently than March 7th, and a bunch of other links in my list have updated but are not showing up at all in the response. Some of them are WordPress blogs, as well as MT, Blogger and others.

I stopped using POM after upgrading to 1.5…never worked. A query about this to POM went unanswered, so I used individual ping targets now instead.
