Hi Tazo. I just have a quick test with latest wordpress version 4.9.8. It’s working fine. Could you pls try it with a new wordpress intallation or Pls disable all other plugins and try again.
Hi. thanks for notifying, I appreciate… sorry, just dont take it personally, but I’ve switched to “Two Step” as it is the only correct and decent professional plugin for this subject. I am plugin-dev myself, and it’s the only correct way and sooner or later integrate that plugin will be integrated into core.
Just i could have advised you could commit your desired parts into that project, as it has the future. Thanks!

@tazotodua Do you mean “Two Factor” plugin, I see someone want to have enter code form at wp-login screen like that plugin. But that plugin is not secure enough since it doesn’t protect XML-RPC, and contains vulnerability allow us to disable 2-step without verify second steps.
That plugin has simple form put in profile and same ui as wordpress profile, but i think to intergate with core peopel expect more than that. I will be happy if wp has 2 step verification in the core.
