Hello there @eborbon,
The latest version of the plugin is tested and it is compatible with WordPress 5.6.
In the other issue you have, make sure all plugins you are using are up to date and compatible.
Regarding the issues, you have with the SG Optimizer, please provide a site URL, so we can check the issue. Are you getting any error messages when going to the SG Optimizer page?
Kind regards,
Stoyan
I have found that after 5.6 was force updated by Siteground on some sites (despite auto-updates being turned off in any way I could (https://www.siteground.com/kb/stop-wordpress-autoupdates/) the sites got serious conflicts emerging (pages start but then stop and unable to load).
I trouble-shooted disabling many different plugins before finding that the ONLY reliable solution was disabling SG Optimizer. I still had some minor Jquery conflicts with older plugins, easily replaced or custom coded around, but even with ALL plugins disabled a default theme selected, SG Optimizer settings page would no longer load… so I cannot test turning off different options to disable the conflicting settings.
I can only conclude there is a major Jquery conflict in SG Optimizer. Removed and implementing alternative site speed and caching until it’s figured out. Good luck.
Your conclusion is wrong. Please, post a separate thread, give us your domain and detailed information about the problems you are experiencing and we will look into it.
Disabling your performance plugin most probably because of another plugin update isn’t the best thing to do.
Hello @stoyangeorgiev
I check the site again, but now everything is ok, the settings of SG Optimizer are ok and the site is fast again
Thanks
