Hello,

I use Shortcodes Ultimate to design my site’s pages and posts, etc.

With Gutenberg release, I’m concerned about breaking the site (given what I read online about how some shortcodes are not compatible with V5).

Do I need to remove all shortcodes (including nested shortcodes) and re-apply them as blocks, or would the upgrade be seamless? Or is this something site-specific and I just need to install Gutenberg and test it all out? Or is there a new version of SU planned for Gutenberg? Sorry, I’m confused.

Could you please advice?

Hi @backpackingseries,

Shortcodes Ultimate is fully compatible with the Gutenberg and WordPress 5.0.

Shortcodes will continue to work after the update and you’ll be able to use the plugin as before. See my note about the compatibility:

Hello @gn_themes, I have a problem with Shortcode ultimate today, it’s like Gutenberg don’t recognize the double quotes :

[su_row class= »hidden homeSteps »]

[su_column size= »1/4″ center= »no » class= » »]

Do you ever have the issue?
