Is something wrong with my WP installation?

    Go here on your site:

    /wp-admin/images/wordpress-logo.png

    If you get a 403 or other restricted permission error, then check the file permissions on your /wp-admin/images directory and its files.

    Also, you might see if you’ve turned on hotlinking protection site-wide.

    Kafkaesqui I am able to /wp-admin/images/wordpress-logo.png, not getting a 404. The permissions to this folder are set to 776. I changed them to 666 and 777 and then tried logging in, still no logo displays.

    HandySolo how do i turn on hotlinking protection site-wide?

    That may be a question for your host. *some* hosts will have a setting for it on the cpanel. Then again, it (hotlinking protection) isn’t even an option for other hosts.

    If you do find that setting, turn it OFF.

    However, if the site in question is the one in your profile, are you aware that your Permalinks are broke? There’s some troubleshooting at that link.

    yup that is the site in question. thnx for pointing out the broken links.

    I went to Manage–> Permalinks and entered /%category%/%postname%/ in the Custom field.

    This should fix the problem. Does it?

    Permalinks are working nicely now it would appear.

    Are you still having the issues you originally posted about or have they been resolved?

    As a side note: Love your theme, that’s what mine used to be too. 🙂
