    I received a notification today that the “Stripe Payment Plugin for WooCommerce” plug-in has been removed from ww.wp.xz.cn. Is the plugin being sunsetted? If so, what is the sunset date?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The plugin was temporarily removed from the WordPress plugin directory because its display name began with the trademarked term “Stripe.” This is a naming policy requirement by WordPress to avoid trademark confusion.

    This removal is not related to the plugin’s functionality, compliance, or any discontinuation. We’ve already updated the name to meet the guidelines, and the plugin will be re-released on the directory shortly.

    In the meantime, your existing installation will continue to work as expected.

    Good to know the plugin is not going away.
