QL server and plugin is working normally. Why do you think it is down?
we cannot connect to server (over 40)… we take the usual error… can it cause the last updates to webmin of linux server?

other Latex plugins works normally, which means that there is no problem to connect to external servers
can you check if there is problem with the ip of the site? (5.189.137.198)

I double checked – everything working fine on our side.
Does the webmin updates your PHP configuration (I think it does)?
Please check PHP configuration related to access to external URLs from PHP.
Other LaTeX plugins do not use external servers.
QL is an awesome and smart (the top…) plugin but always has these problems with the “server”… we’ll keep it as cache-reader for the past… and continue with wp-latex for the new topics…

Glad to know! I guess your PHP configuration does not allow redirects.
That is why it started to work again after we switched to HTTPS in new plugin version.
