Hey @spacedroid,
Barry provided a solution for a similar issue recently at our premium forums, please give it a try and let us know: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-event-posts-from-tag-archives/
Best,
Nico
Thanks a lot. I did something similar to modify the query, but your version is more elegant and I’ll try it. If it doesn’t work I’ll just use my version.
After I applied my fix, I noticed the reverse problem with Event tags. The tags we have on Event pages only show blog posts, and no events.
If I modify the tag url and add “events” like this:
http://www.inspirage.com/events/tag/modern-supply-chain-experience/
Then we get want we want: just events and no blog posts.
So the new question is, how do I modify the Event tag urls so they follow the /events/tag/ structure?
Any thoughts? Did my new question make sense? I might be able to explain it better.
