Hi @edat
Hope you are doing fine!
You can rest assure, our Smush plugin is compatible with PHP 8.2 (The team has also made recent tests to verify). It is possible the error is caused by a conflict or an incomplete installation after an update.
Could you please test the following and share the results ( preferably, perform these steps in a staging site and create a backup in case you need to revert any changes)?
- Perform a quick plugin conflict test. Basically, you’ll need to deactivate all plugins, except Smush and switch to a basic theme. Then verify if the issue persists. If it doesn’t, then start activating the plugins/theme one by one until you identify the one causing the issue.
- Re-install the plugin by download and uploading the installer from the plugin page: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-smushit/. Check if the error is not showing after completing this step.
Please, share the results of the suggested actions to provide further help.
Kind regards
Luis
