    Hi guys!

Does this plugin support the GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) – meaning it does not phone home or access any other servers than the one it is installed on?

If not this would be a no go after may 2018.

Buy the way: It would be great if you have pages for imprint and data protection on onedollarplugin.com – I don´t like spending money when not knowing with whom I am dealing.

    Best regards,
    Jan

    Hi Jan,

The data protection and policies are something we’re putting together as I type. It’s on the way and will definitely be in-place before May 25th.

As to Shield being GDPR, there is no “phoning home”. There is a statistics gathering option which is disabled by default, but any identifiable information is stripped both from the WordPress site side, and from the receiving side so that no data that could identify the site or the source are either received, or logged.

    Thanks for your question.
