I’ve been trying to make the comments checkbox work, but it wasn’t showing.
So I tried disabling another plugin, Google Recaptcha, with also affects the comment area. Then the GDRP plugin checkbox worked, great.
I am not sure if this is a specific issue with my blog (photoshopeando.com), or maybe I should run a different captcha plugin. I’d like to use one because otherwise I get a lot of spam comments – yes, they are caught by akismet, but there is always some false positives, so I’d rather use a captcha.
Thanks for the plugin, and thanks if anyone can confirm whether this is an issue or provide any advice to make the captcha + gdpr checkbox work together.

I can confirm my site crashed because Google Recaptcha was installed and I tried to use this plugin. As you suggest would be nice to hear tips what recaptcha to use.
