    I’d like to have multiple pages from the same theme with each having different background images displayed in the wrapper behind the content?

    I know it’s possible to have different headers in the same theme. Is it possible to have different wrapper backgrounds?

    It’s possible via the body_class function and some creative CSS.

    Not one that’s specific to body or wrapper backgrounds but this Codex page on changing headers comes pretty close. It’s the same principle in both cases.
