Hello there!
Sorry for the delayed reply.
And I’m sorry to disappoint you, but our Hotel Booking plugin, which comes with this theme, is not fully compatible with the Polylang multilanguage plugin, unfortunately. In this case, we recommend our customers use the WPML plugin instead, which has been tested and is fully compatible with our plugin.
As for the theme, you should not have any issues using it with any of the above-mentioned plugins. The only problem is that our plugin has a few compatibility issues with Polylang, as I mentioned.
Hello,
what exactly is not compatible between Hotel Booking plugin and Polylang? You recommend to use WPML instead of Polylang? Which WPML exactly? I find few options in the like “WPML to Polylang” and “WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML” etc.
And it should be installed instead of Polylang or together?
Hello, @giedriusjokubaitis.
Please be informed that up until now we registered two major compatibility issues between our Hotel Booking plugin and Polylang. They’re connected to the “Search Results” and “Booking Confirmation/Checkout” pages. The issue is that no matter which language your guests select for their bookings, these two pages will always be in a default website language.
As for WPML, I’m not sure what these products you’re referring to are, but you will need to get the “Multilingual CMS” package from their website in order to properly translate your website and our plugin. And of course, it should be used instead of Polylang, not alongside it.
Thank you for the information.
Are you doing anything to solve these problems?
Hello, @giedriusjokubaitis.
Thank you for your response.
Please be informed that we haven’t scheduled these compatibility issues for a resolution yet.
But our developers definitely take a look at them as soon as they have a chance. In the meantime, we recommend all our customers use a WPML multilingual solution instead.
