I’m testing this in a localhost resulting in a blank page on the front end. This is typical of PHP errors. Is this theme maintained?

As this is a block theme which uses the still unreleased Site Editor, you need the Gutenberg plugin installed to make it work: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/gutenberg/.

You can also find support for Blockbase at https://github.com/Automattic/themes/issues
