Is WP-API plugin required in WP version 5 or later?

    I have a Web App using WP rest api out of the box… with ACF and ACF to Rest plugin.

    Does JWT still requires WP-REST-API plugin?
    – If so, which exactly?
    – Is there setup/customization required?
