There needs to be a filter that removes the function if the homepage consists of blog posts. See https://bradgriffin.me for an example. It’s a simple personal site, and the homepage is the blog posts. Rock on, right? Well, not quite. 😉

If you scroll down the page, you’ll see the related posts are loading after each and every truncated post. So the same contextual posts are repeated over and over and over and over again. The contextual posts “should” only show on ‘single’ pages ~ not the homepage.
