Issu with WPML

Hello,
The website has both language spanish and english. I have installed Complianz plugin from the spanish interface but when I use “String traduction” to translate in english, the text in spanish appears associated with the english version.
I have tried to unistall, remove cache, clear cache and reinstall but the problem persists.
Any idea?

The cookie banner does not change.. did you mean this?

Hi @sece43,

Have you followed these steps?
1. Complianz -> cookie banner. Enter the desired texts in Spanish, and click save. Even if you don’t want to change the texts, please click save to register the strings with WPML.

2. In WPML -> String translation, find your strings under text domain complianz-gdpr and translate them in English.

If it still doesn’t work, or if you can’t find the correct strings, please allow WPML to scan again, as described in their support article.

Hello Leon,
I followed step 1, but when i tried step 2, the installation appears in english with the text in spanish so I can’t do the traslation.

I found the solution!! When you access to string translation there is a bottom to change the language associated 🙂
