Hi, it seems to be an issue with the plugin on my wordpress website.
My website is //sinestezic.com. I installed the plugin and after a while I uninstalled it, but the problem is that it didn’t unisintall completely. Any time I install a plugin, any kind of plugin, it reappears and on the top of my WP dashboard I get the following error:
“Scalar value as an array in /home/forexc9/public_html/sinestezic.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-image-zoooom/image-zoooom.php on line 129”.
If I refresh the dashboard, it hides, but when I install another plugin it reappears again. I can’t delete it. I must say that there is another plugin that I can’t delete: Woocommerce Image Zoom. It seems that they are in conflict somehow. I tried to delete both with no success.

    Hello Andrei,

may I ask if you changed the method for writing files on the filesystem? You can change it with the define('FS_METHOD', 'direct'); line in the wp-config.php file?

The actual error (“Scalar value as an array”) has to do with checking if you have WP Backery Visual Composer installed and, if it is, than it adds a parameter to one of the Visual Composer elements. So I don’t really understand if you have the Visual Composer installed or not. If you do, would you please tell me which version?

I didn’t modify, voluntarly, anything in the wp-config.php. I gave access to my wp dashboard to the support of the theme I use. Maybe they did.

I do have WPBakery Visual Composer installed, Version 4.12.

Thank you Diana for your support.

Hi Diana, do you any solution? I would love to use your plugin but it seems that I’m stuck. Thank you.

I must say also that I am not a php coder.

I tried to deactivate visual composer and the result is the same.

I will post a fix for the problem you’re having, but I thought that you’re trying to uninstall the plugin. For fixing your error notice you can try following the Uninstalling Plugins section on the Managing Plugins page.

For now I’m in vacation so I’ll post a fix only in a week or so.

I wanted to use the plugin but when I saw the error I tried to uninstall it. I tried both mothods of uninstall, ftp and deactivation, and both failed. It is very weird, sometimes I see it in my plugins dashboard (when I install or uninstall any other kind of plugin) and other times I don’t see it (when I refresh the page). Have a nice holiday Diana!

    Hi Diana,

I found another issue. When I activate the plugin, I don’t see the products in the shop anymore.

    Hello Andrei,

could you please give me the link to your website. Having admin access would also be very helpful, but at least the link. You can use the contact page if you don’t want to post it in the public forum.

If you don’t see the products in the shop, then that would be a major bug. Out of the top of my head I cannot think of any connections between the products and the zoom plugin. Unfortunately I cannot replicate anything like this on my computer, therefore admin access would be very helpful to debug this.
