    Hi,

    Been using this for a while but bumped into an issue.

    Getting 404 for URL’s like this :

    /cartridge-mohttps:/www.google.com

    Note how the URL has been appended with

    https:/www.google.com

    The URL should be :

    /cartridge-monkey/

    No matter what I try, can’t get it to work and the 404 plugin has no effect when set to direct the 404 to the home page?

    Any ideas would be appreciated 🙂

    Please try version 2.31.5 for the issue about redirecting to the homepage. Also let me know if the other issue is still there… thanks

    Just tested it again … updated

    Getting lots of appended URLs such as :

    /drinks-shttps:/www.google.com

    so added the correct link path which should go to :

    /drinks-supermarket/

    Instead, it’s going to homepage?

    What do you mean you added the correct link path? Do you mean you added a custom redirect that goes to the right place?

    If I understood correctly, there are two different issues that you mentioned. 1) URLs being appended to things and 2) making 404s redirect to the homepage.

    The latest update should fix #2. Is that not the case?

    For #1, the appended URLs, please turn on debug logging in the settings and paste the debug log to https://pastebin.com/ so we can see what’s happening.

    . go to Options
    . Check the box next to “Debug logging” (under Advanced Settings etc)
    . Click Save Settings at the bottom
    . Go to a URL that shows the issue.
    . Go back to the Options page and click on “View the debug file”
    . Copy and paste the contents to https://pastebin.com/ and click on “Create New Paste” at the bottom
    . Copy and paste the URL of your paste here.

    Don’t paste the file contents here as it’s too big.
