When I installed this plugin and tried to duplicate a the custom post types gets duplicated. So far so good.

The problem is in the overview of the posts, it only shows 2 posts. It does say All (4), so the rest is there but it only shows 2.

Any idea what this could be? I tried to reinitiate the custom post type and disabled all plugins, including this one. I am afraid to use this plugin as it has seemed to “break” my custom post type. The rest of my post types are still working fine.

    Hi @dnspn,
I need you to answer to some questions to understand better what’s happening:

    • which custom post type is it? is it added by a theme/plugin or is it created by you?
    • Which role is your user?
    • Which options are enabled under SettingsDuplicate Post, tab What to copy? Is the Author checkbox enabled?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Hi @lopo

Thanks for your fast answer, I was able to resolve this.

The problem existed for some reason because it came into an issue with pre_get_posts and is_post_type_archive.

For some reason when this is used in combination with the plugin it sets the rules for the display of the custom posts.

I hope it can help somebody else too 🙂
