Hi @safipakistani,
The SolSec plugin <em style=”font-weight: bold;”>requires access to the REST API to function. Please try reaching out to your hosting provider and have them allow all the REST HTTP request methods: GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, and OPTIONS.
You can check which methods are currently allowed on your site here.

I forwarded your message to my hosting support team and they replied:
We would like to inform you that those methods are enabled on the server where your account with us resides.Could yo ask them to provide you with more information on what should be altered to the server environment so we could review if its possible to apply it.
Hi @safipakistani,
Can you share the site address for me to check?
Hi @safipakistani,
When I send an OPTIONS request I get:
allow: GET, HEAD, OPTIONS, TRACE
When I attempt a PUT, PATCH or DELETE request method I get:
405 Method Not Allowed
im using tmd web hosting ( business plan ) they replied this after checking their server, i think its too costly to use your plugin , they suggested me to upgrade your hosting to vps and price of their starter plan is 89$ .
their reply:
Hello,
Thank you for your patience up to now.
We have thoroughly reviewed your request and would like to inform you that the methods that you wish to use are not allowed on our Shared Windows Hosting environment and due to this you are receiving the error in question.
For the methods to be allowed on your account you should consider upgrading your package to one of our Windows VPS solutions which you can review at the following link:
https://www.tmdhosting.com/windows-vps-hosting.html
Please, do not hesitate to update us if we can be of any further assistance
i tried other security plugins which do not require these all things like Put Patch or Delete.
Hi @safipakistani, thanks for checking in with your host!
We understand your concern, and I’ll do my best to share this with the team. However, for Solid Security to function as expected, access to all the REST API methods is necessary, and I’m afraid the plugin is incompatible with your hosting setup. Thank you for understanding, and feel free to reach out if you need help with our plugin.
