    Hello,

for disconnected user those plugin do not works:

    Ivory search, SideMenu, Popup Maker.

example: on the main menu on the right there is the search menu. If you are not logged clicking on it there it does not work at all.

The same for the menu: “reserved area” before the search menu. If you click on it the side menu does not appear.

You can check it on main page (the link submitted)

Also Popup are not working if the role is disconnected.

Note that all those plugins work well for connected user and the menu are enabled also for disconnected user

I see this behaviour times ago … but during the first installation of publish press they worked … I don’t know exactly when the issue started

    Thanks and regards

    Hi @guidov22 ,

Thank you for using our plugin.

As we need to see the details to understand the issue, is it possible for us to get the screen capture of that action and the unexpected result?

    Thanks,

Hello, below you can see the popup that is shown when a user is logged in. If there is no user it is not shown.

Here the side menu that is only visible if a user is connected.

It should be visible also if a user is disconnected (with some submenu not visible in this case)

As you can see by setup also disconnected user should see it

and also the permission are ok for disconnected user

the sidemenu worked fine since june (I had to add a submenu – not sidemenu – on “reseved area” menu to get the logon page).

Before clicking on “reserved area” the sidemanu was shown (and used to get connected)

    Thanks for help

    Hi @guidov22 ,

When you mentioned disconnected users, are you referring to the users who have no access to the dashboard?

    (@guidov22)

    hello,

no it is not correct: for disconnected user I mean every user that has not username and password so it is not logged. In publish press there is the group “disconnected” that refers to this user

on site there is a reserved area (user have to logon with username and password) and public pages that everyone can see.

who can log to reserved area (ie: he has username and password) can se the functionality of the plugin mentioned … the other no (even if on page and setup they should.

    Thanks and regards

    Hi @guidov22 ,

Do you apply certain permissions to the disconnected group on PublishPress Permissions? If yes, could you take a screen capture of the permission configuration applied?

    (@guidov22)

    Hi,

    no should not …

For disconnetter user I only apply certain permission to not show some entry of the menu and some Pages. But the special permission is on specific object.

for example Pages of the logghed in groppa cannot be sene by disconnetted user and some voice of the menu are visible only for ligged user.

I Guess nothing about general permissions.

io you can tell I can check this I will send you the screenshot.

    Hello,

here the permissions (as they appears) for disconnected user:

    Hello @rizaprihananto

I also see that the plugin Ivory Search is not working if the role is “disconnected user”

If you go to http://www.eviarengominiotti.com and click on the search icon you can see that nothing happens.

Instead if you are logged as user it works.

If you need I can create a user for you (with limited permission, just to see the difference) so you can check the issue.

If you would like to test I need your email so I can create a user.

    tell me what you prefer

I guess that it is not working for a while, as I usually use the site accessing to it with user. I only check sometimes the normal functionality so not all the functionality were tested.

See on Publishpress site: there are a lot of new pluging not present when I installed it for the first time it. May be that I need some of them …. I check all permissions and it seems they are correct.

Where I can see, in a single time all the different permission from role “disconnected users” vs “connected users” ?

    Thanks for your help

    I fix the issue.

The main cause was another plugin (a cache plugin).

I though it was a publishpress issue as th difference was when the role was disconnected, and I though only publispress can do it ….. but I not considered that the cache is not involved in case of logged user …..

    Thanks and regards
