  • What plugin are you using to accept the payments through? Is it Gravity Forms, CF7, WooCommerce? Also, what is the URL of your website? Without more information it will be hard for myself or another volunteer to guide you in the correct direction to get the answers and fixes you need.

So i made a payment two days back from my personal account to test the platform, the order wss placed, money got deducted from my personal account and was added to my company’s account. But today i got money back in my personal back and in the admin panel the order is showing in processing state.

My question is why was the payment refunded to my personal account?
And why isn’t the order cancelled?

Your payment processor didn’t get what they need to see to tell them the transaction was acknowledged and fulfilled. There is a good bit of ‘handshaking’ that needs to happen or else the payment processor ‘reverses’ the transaction.

Contact your payment processor or WooCommerce for help. This is not an issue with WordPress as WordPress doesn’t have an eCommerce system built-in.

Do mention everything you see as the more they know, the easier it will be to fix.

What is this handshaking and how can we do that?? Do you need notify my payment processor or there is some plugin? How does that work?

You will need to contact your payment processor or the WooCommerce community for support. You can contact the WooCommerce community here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/. My advice would be to start with WooCommerce support as there is probably a WooCommerce add-on you are using to accept the payments and that is where the problem is occurring within that add-on.
