Hello,

I tested WP Post Popup, Awesome!

Here are some issue and questions:

ISSUE:

After click the links like “next page button”, the page will will jump to a new page, and some error message will show up at frontend:

{“code”:”rest_no_route”,”message”:”未找到匹配URL和请求方式的路由。″,”data”:{“status”:404}}

Any wrong with settings?

Questions:

1# how to show comments in Pop uped post content? it would be great if a user can scroll down comments and post comment in pop used content page. since there are a lots of comment plugin with Ajax function, like: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpdiscuz/

2# whether it is possible to be used in menus? if yes, how to add it?

3# For me, I think it is quite useful for mobile mode since it quite not convenient for user to jump and waiting for page loading when they navigate a website. it would be great if it work as an really APP by using these kind of techniques. the only problem is how to embed a sticky “close” or “back” in POP up menu.

4# I am just thinking whether it is possible to make any default post to be Poped up, just like Twitter style?

I don’t know where the “next page button” is located since I don’t know your site. If you share it, I can help you debug.

1) This was answered in your other support thread.
2) You would have to manually hook into the menu items to add the “modal-link” class or enable CSS classes on menu items: https://www.lockedowndesign.com/add-css-classes-to-menu-items-in-wordpress/
3) You can set the breakpoint to 0 to make the popup work on mobile
4) I’m not sure what you mean by this

Hello @allurewebsolutions,

Thanks for your reply.
You know most of wordpress users are not technical background, like me, I am marketing director with 45years old:), and I use wordpress for 10years. so I am good at study customer behaviors and any product including a small plugin.

I am just think there will lots of people like to use WP Post Popup if you would like to make it easy to use and include comments in popup content just like Twitter style. Since it is really convenient to scroll up and down, back and forward.

The most important is that users can make comment in popup post page, that would be great value.

Thanks

I’ll definitely look into the possibility of adding comments inside the popup. It’s a good idea. Thanks!

Thanks.

Also if the plugin can make default post or custom post type to be pop up, and posts load infinitely, that would be much great.

Loading infinitely will let user not leave page when view post, pop up content can comment does too, it would be great view experience, that means it exactly support the style of twitter:) right.
