Do you have a link you can share?
There is no player embed on this page?
It’s a playlist which is inserted, like this:
[jwplayer config=”Player playlist 3 titres-16-9″ playlistid=”398″]
It worked before the update.
I tried this on another page:
[playlist type="video" ids="1710,1711,1709,1735" config="Player playlist 5 titres"]
But just a white screen is displayed and no video starts…
Please show me a test page to where this code is running.
In this same page,
http://www.artistesetassocies.org/claudio-parmiggiani-2/
I added to my original shortcode:
[jwplayer config=”Player playlist 3 titres-16-9″ playlistid=”398″]
which display:[PLAYLIST not found],
this one:
[playlist type="video" ids="397,396,395"]
which displays un white screen which doesn’t work
I don’t even see JW Player embed code being generated on this page. I would recommend emailing support at jwplayer dot com with a log in so they can look into what is going on here.
Chatbleu23, are you from France ?
I’m asking because I am, and I use to have the same kind of issue.
Before 4.2.2, what version were you using ?
In my case, the player couldn’t appear after I updated from 4.0 to 4.2.
An the answer was just that 4.2 messed up the international quotes sign with the ‘french’ quotes sign (” and « ).
Take a look about it and tell me what you see in your shortcode.
If you see it’s mixed up, I will give you the code to modify this issue tonight, as now Im at work and I dont have access to my ftp.
You should provide a link.
Hi,
Thank you very much for your reply sushi02.
It’s a little bit weird. In backoffice, the quotes appear in the english way, but on frontoffice, it is the mess indeed. And yes, I’m from France.
Could you help me?
Thanks
Muriel
Just make sure to not use “Smart Quotes”.
Sorry, I don’t understand. What are “Smart Quotes”?
Thanks
Check your ‘ and ” quotes in your post. If they look slightly off, try re typing them.
I typed and retyped them several times. It is still the same. But once again, I have several posts with this shortcode which worked perfectly before the update. So, the quotes should be still ok.
Sushi02 seems to have the solution.
I’m waiting for your reply Sushi02. Thanks!!!
