Issue – Stripe connection

    Hi GiveWP!

    when I am trying to connect it to stripe, it does not work. I log in through your button but when I make a donation, show me: “your card was declined”. But, if I create payment directly in Stripe, that platform accept my donation.

    I used the webhook and added the 6 events (stripe) as it says on your website:

    checkout.session.completed
    payment_intent.succeeded
    payment_intent.payment_failed
    charge.refunded
    customer.subscription.deleted
    invoice.payment_failed
    invoice.payment_succeeded

    I’m using php 7,4

    Hey @aonce,

    ​Glad you reached out. I can help you with that.

    First of all, it’s important that you notice that if you are trying to connect Stripe with Test Mode enabled, you cannot use your live credit card because it won’t work. However, if you are live and using a live card, then we’ll need to understand better what is going on.

    Did you follow our instructions here https://givewp.com/documentation/add-ons/stripe-gateway/? We have lots of information that will certainly help you connect your account.

    If after all the issue persists, ​every time a donation is made on your site – or attempted, GiveWP creates a new entry on the logs section on the dashboard that gives us further information on what is happening. Can you send me logs for when you try to make a donation and get the errors below? You can find the logs under Donations > Tools > Logs.
