Issue using Text Bar

I have the slider on a page in my staging environment and can’t find the link to that page. I’m trying to display the description within the Text Bar under the slider. I’ve gone to the Text Bar and identified the position as under the image. I’ve made the text bar light gray and the description a light bold italics. I’m not seeing it on any of the slides. This is #2 of the sliders. I thought it might be that I used bullets but when I got rid of them, the text bar still didn’t display. I’ve tried to position the text bar to center in the image but it still doesn’t display. What is the trick to getting the text bar to display?
