Issue when activating the plugin – Deprecated

    Hello there

    I just want to inform about an issue when the plugin is activated on my website. The following message is shown on the header of the web:

    Deprecated: ¡El argumento $control_id está obsoleto desde la versión 3.5.0! in /customers/b/b/d/cuentaovejaszzz.com/httpd.www/wp-content/plugins/elementor/modules/dev-tools/deprecation.php on line 301

    I tried deactivating all plugins and reconnecting one by one and found SmartSlider is causing this issue.

    Any updates that may solve this? Thanks in advance

    What’s the version number of Elementor you’re using? Where exactly do you see the problem?

    I installed Smart Slider 3.5.1.4 Free and Elementor Free 3.6.1 but this message didn’t pop up for me.

    We’ve recently made a change to follow Elementor’s deprecation of the controls_registered hook, but we couldn’t release a new version yet that contains this fix. If you contact us directly:

    Thanks for your quick reply. We are running the same version (Smart Slider 3.5.1.4 Free and Elementor Free 3.6.1). I will contact you through the provided link and see if a new build fixes the problem.

    Problem solved after reaching support through the link. The plugin was updated and the error message is gone.
