Hi,
Thanks for reporting. As you may have seen we’ve made a lot of changes in the latest version and we would like to check that ACF problem ASAP.
Indeed it would be easier to understand the problem with a screenshot in your case, can’t yo use Google Drive or Dropbox to share a link a screenshot?
Thanks.
Hi,
It seems it’s a CSS conflict indeed. we will fix that in the upcoming version.
Thanks for reporting.
Makes sense, glad you’ve found it and very relieved it wasn’t something I’d caused and had to sort! Look forward to tring out the new features.
Many Thanks
David
Hi,
Can you update to the latest version and let me know if the issue is fixed?
Thanks.
Hi
Sorry for delayed response – been busy and missed the email.
Mix of yes and no re fixing issue. The field text box is now visible and can be edited so in that regard all fine. What is still different is the text styling. That is still pretty much as in the screen shot, the original 10px(?) italic text is being over-ridden and is now both larger and normal text. Will put another screenshot for download tomorrow if you wish but must dash just now. Just wanted to post something back asap.
Regards
David
Hi,
All right we’ll look into it, no problems.
I let you know.
Cheers,
Hi
If it helps, the style changes I can identify which are caused by activating the Meta plugin are:
font-size: 13px; inceases to font-size: 15px;
line-height: 1.4em; changes to line-height: 28.2px;
also visually font-style: italic; changes to font-style: normal; although font-style info is not showing in the web-developer tool I have. (I am a novice!).
If I can do more this end to help just let me know. Happy searching.
Regards,
David
Hi
I was doing some editing tonight and noticed that the following appears under the ‘search engine title’ box:
Snippet variable: %title%, %date%, %id%, %sitename%, %sitedesc%, %page%, %currenttime%, %currentdate%, %currentday%, %currentmonth%, %currentyear%
Search engine description
Also noticed that if I use near max 69 characters then the final characters overflow the box. Just mention this incase this is a styling issue related to the ACF thing.
Regards,
David
