    Hello!

    On the profile page when setting up 2FA for the first time, when selecting the authentication method, there is a problem: if I select “One-time code via 2FA app” and click “Next step”, the form appears as if I had selected “One-time code via email”. But if I first select “One-time code via email” and then select “One-time code via 2FA app”, the form for setting up the 2FA app appears. (The issue was also reproduced on a clean version of wordpress 6.4.2.)

    I am really sorry to hear about this experience, and sorry for the slight delay in getting back to you!

    Since this is something we were unable to reproduce in our testing environments, may I please ask for a few more details about this?

    1. Can you check again using any of the default WordPress themes and try again? I am not sure what ‘vanilla’ means and if this indeed happens for you on a fresh website with no other plugins or custom themes installed.
    2. Can you tell me how/if the plugin was initially configured from the installation wizard and if so, what were the settings applied?
    3. Can you also check this while on a different browser, and in incognito mode, just to eliminate any chance of caching being involved into this?
