Issue when trying to “Add Source”

    Hello —

    I’m currently testing the Smash Balloons Reviews plugin and running into an issue when trying to add a source.

    When I click “Add Source,” I’m prompted to verify my email. I complete the verification successfully, but when I return and click “Add Source” again, it asks me to verify my email again.

    If I re-enter my email, I receive a message stating that the email is already verified.

    It seems like the verification isn’t being recognized or retained.

    Hi @calderacare,

    My apologies for the issue you encountered while verifying your email address. I have manually reset the email address that was verified for your website. Something may have disrupted the verification step the first time around causing subsequent attempts to fail as you are limited to one verification at a time. Please try to verify your email one more time.

    Having the exact same issue. No way I’m paying for the pro version if you can’t even get the registration process for the free version to work. Doesn’t exactly build confidence in your product

    I’ll look for another plugin.

    Hi @plb1968,

    My apologies for the inconvenience caused by the email verification loop. Since this thread opened our team has identified the cause of the issue our developers are actively working on a fix for a future update. In the time being, you can add a Google Places API key to the plugin which is a reliable reviews source, or I can do a manual reset for you from our side.
