    Hi,

I am using the WP Mail SMTP plugin to send a contact form from a client’s. We have Wordfence running on the site too.

The issue is that when Wordfence sends out an email with updates etc the client is also getting a copy of this rather than just me, the site admin. I think this is coming from the WP Mail SMTP plugin. Is there a way to stop that from happening?

    Cheers

  • Hi @keithwlogan,

I apologize for any confusion, WP Mail SMTP doesn’t send any emails by itself other than the test email. There might be some option within Wordfence to send emails with updates to the client as well. You will need to contact their support to know how they’re sending.

    I hope this helps!

Hi @keithwlogan – We haven’t heard from you in about a week, so I’m going to go ahead and mark this ticket resolved. If you still have questions, though, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.

Hi @sanzeeb3 sorry for the delay in coming back to you. I spoke with Wordfence support and they said that they only email someone listed within the plugin, I have checked and it is only my email listed. Really not sure how they are getting emailed. I have other WordPress installs without your plugin and I haven’t had this issue before.
